Delete your account

You can permanently delete your FieldOps account and the data associated with it at any time, from the app or by emailing us. No phone calls, no retention specialist, no "are you sure" theatre.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open FieldOps on your phone.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm with your password and the code we send to your email.
- You'll see a confirmation screen — your account is queued for deletion.
Option 2 — By email
Send an email from the address registered on your account to delete@fieldops.app with the subject Delete my account. We'll confirm within one business day and complete the deletion.
Active subscription? Cancel it first in the App Store, Google Play, or your account settings. Cancelling deletion does not refund unused subscription time.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile, login credentials and authentication tokens.
- Customer records, job records, quotes, invoices, photos and notes you created.
- Site notes, materials catalogue, custom branding and saved templates.
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers.
- Backups containing your data are purged within 30 days.
What we keep (and why)
- Tax-compliant invoice records — kept for 7 years as required by the Australian Tax Office. These are pseudonymised and not visible in any active product.
- Anonymous, aggregated analytics — usage counts that cannot be tied back to you.
- Stripe payment records — managed by Stripe under their own retention policy. Contact Stripe support for those.
How long it takes
Account is locked immediately. Production data is removed within 72 hours. Encrypted backups containing the data expire and are overwritten within 30 days. You'll receive a final confirmation email when the process is complete.
Before you go — would an export help?
If you want a copy of your data before deleting, Settings → Export → Download all data gives you a CSV bundle with customers, jobs, quotes, invoices and a media URL list. It's free on every tier.
